Yes, it is true… I’m engaged y’all!!!!
After all the excitement of our engagement, I quickly realized that it was time to get to work! I had no idea how to effectively research venues, caterers, flowers, etc… So what’s a newly engaged girl to do?
Go to the Carolina Bridal Fair, of course!
In case you missed it, this event was at the Cabarrus Arena on Sunday, September 23. I was a little overwhelmed with all of the vendors…. I had no idea that there were so many amazing vendors in the area! Here are some of my favorites!!!

One thing that really kept me going was all the FREE FOOD SAMPLES. Oh my word. And the cake??? I’ve never had so many cake samples in my life!
Oh, and David Tutera showed up as well! No big deal, right?
At the end of the second fashion show, there was another raffle. Guess who won a beautiful set of toasting flutes from Dillard’s? Yep. It was me!

Although I was a little nervous at first about going to this fair, I had a great experience, and found inspiration at every corner. I also picked up a few great leads on a caterer and venue. I’m so excited about the year ahead!!!
